Once upon a time
Long, long, long ago
She spread her lips
In ever-so soft and gentle a ‘so’
Just to complain
Just to mark her blow
How she was happy
But ever-so confused and low
Once much, much after that
Far, far ahead in time
Her swollen dripping eyes
Wandered softly into mine
Just with a decision
Just with a final call
That again never shall cease
Those tears that ever-so-more fall
